This testimony is lovingly submitted...
This testimony is lovingly submitted as an expression of my gratitude for Christian Science, given to us in the writings of our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. For my years of membership in The Mother Church, as well as for class instruction, our periodicals, and all the good received from practitioners by my family and myself, I have cause to be most grateful.
My study of Christian Science was taken up after a physician, who was a friend of our family, had said that it would be useless for me to take any more medicine. A chiropractor had also failed to help me. At this time it was very difficult for me to sleep, and I was experiencing great physical weakness. Because I had three small children to care for, the outlook greatly disturbed me.
When Christian Science was offered to me, I at once decided to see a practitioner. After my first visit to her office, she related her own healing of a so-called incurable disease; then I was sure Christian Science was the truth. It sounded so reasonable that I knew it was what I wanted.
