RADIO PROGRAM No. 225 - You Can Rely on God with Confidence

Speaker: Frequently the question is asked, "How can a person gain the confidence to rely entirely on God for healing?" I think our program today can give a good answer to that. Let's listen now to the experience of Sidney Pecker of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He'll tell it to you himself.

Mr. Pecker: Some time ago, I was told that I had only a short time to live—three years at the most. I learned this when I was examined in connection with an application for additional life insurance. Several doctors examined me, and X rays were taken, I was told that I had a brain tumor.

They went on to say that an immediate operation would be necessary if I was to live. I said I was a Christian Scientist, and that I would rely on prayer alone and ask the help of a Christian Science practitioner. They were quite insistent that an operation be performed, although they said that even if the operation was successful, I might not live over a year; and if I did live, it might not be over three years.
