CONSISTENCY
Two young children questioned their father closely as to the nature of a large mole on his neck. The father, a Christian Scientist, replied that in reality God had made him perfect, and that since God had not made the mole, it was therefore not real. And since it was not real, it was not true, and thus it was completely nothing.
"If it's nothing, why do we see it?" was the simple response.
"That's a good question," the father unhesitatingly replied, "and with the help of Christian Science the growth can be proved so unreal that it will no longer appear."
