MAN'S HEALTH IS PERMANENT

Often we hear some such remark as, "I have lost my health," or, "His health is failing." To those who are believing in lack of health, Christian Science offers a sure means of recovery.

The Biblical accounts of healings give proof of God's willingness to restore health and point to Him as the true source of health and peace. Jeremiah thus voiced God's promise (Jer. 33:6): "Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth."

The man whom God creates in His own image and likeness and to whom He gives dominion is of necessity good and expresses perfect health. It is comforting to know that not one of the diseases, distresses, or problems of mankind has a creator or true origin. Neither is one of them real or experienced by man, the image and likeness of God. Just as there is no actual source of a mistake in mathematics, so there is no actual source of disease. And as readily as mathematical mistakes yield to the facts when understood and applied, so sin, disease, and distressing problems yield when we spiritually discern and utilize the facts of health and perfection.
