It gives me much pleasure to express my gratitude for all the blessings that Christian Science has brought into my life during the past ten years.

My introduction to this religion led me to study the chapter entitled "Prayer" in the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy. I found it so clear and logical that I immediately accepted the truth contained therein.

At that time I was employed in a hospital. I submitted to a routine chest X ray and was told that tuberculosis was present. For three months I was confined to bed. During this time I daily studied the Bible Lessons in the Christian Science Quarterly and read the other Christian Science periodicals. No medical remedies were administered. I felt very much uplifted and was allowed to go home. As I continued to study, attend church services, and have treatment from a Christian Science practitioner, the fear of the disease and its accompanying symptoms faded away. I am most grateful for the healing and for the steady spiritual growth which I could feel was taking place during that time.
