It was a privilege to be introduced to Christian Science through the Sunday School and to benefit from its teachings for over five years. During a period of time I drifted away from the Sunday School, yet the peace experienced in learning this blessed truth brought me back again. Subsequently I became a member of both The Mother Church and a branch church and had class instruction.

About seven years ago growths on my body and swelling in my mouth appeared, and they were accompanied by headaches, weakness, and nervousness. With the help a Christian Science practitioner I was able to see that these conditions were only false fears, or illusions, which had been taken into thought. After several months I saw clearly that, regardless of material testimony, man is now and forever perfect and complete.

As I looked for and found opportunities to reach out and help others, spiritual strength replaced the feeling of weakness. The study of Mary Baker Eddy's description of man on page 475 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" helped to turn thought away from a material body. The practitioner steadfastly supported me, and soon my healing was evident.
