I am exceedingly grateful for the Christian Science Sunday School, where the children may learn the truth regarding God and man and how to apply this truth in their daily experiences. My children, who have had the good fortune to attend the Sunday School since a very early age, have in many instances been able to bring about their own healings. Through her own spiritual understanding my daughter was healed of chronic earache, partial deafness in one ear, a nasal obstruction, and ugly warts which had covered both hands.

When my son was seven years old, through his understanding of the First Commandment he healed himself overnight of mumps. More recently, he overcame an angry boil on one of his wrists with no loss of time from school or other activities, which included playing baseball with his young friends. With the loving help of a practitioner he was instantaneously healed of chicken pox and double mastoiditis. A stubborn case of ringworm took a little longer to overcome, and a serious difficulty, thought to be polio, was completely and quickly healed.

I too have experienced many physical healings. One was the instantaneous healing of blood poisoning in an advanced stage. The practitioner whom I called for help quietly assured me that one form of error is no more real than another, no matter whether the condition is one which tries to frighten its victim into believing the disease is fatal, or whether it is some mild disorder, considered not dangerous. This practitioner's quiet but firm reassurance gave me such a feeling of peace and relaxation that I knew instantly the healing work had been accomplished, and within three hours the swelling and discoloration had noticeably receded. They entirely disappeared in a few days.
