Having often found help and comfort by reading the testimonies of healing in the Christian Science periodicals, I should like to contribute to this ever-growing tide of gratitude and joy.

As a child I had the great privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday School. Just how much of a privilege it was, I began to realize soon after the Second World War. Active service with the British Army helped to bring home to me the necessity of searching wholeheartedly for Truth. My early teaching in Christian Science, received from my mother and in the Sunday School, proved to be a wonderful foundation. It enabled me to accept more easily the great fact of the allness of God and His perfect, spiritual creation and in some degree to prove the truth in demonstration.

Christian Science is continually giving me a clearer understanding of the true meaning of health. I was healed of influenza after my mother had read to me from the Bible and from Mrs. Eddy's writings. Through this experience I learned that we must deal promptly and vehemently with discordant conditions instead of allowing them to continue. A case of what I think was food poisoning was healed when I saw it as an opportunity to demonstrate Christian Science. The desire for tobacco left me at the same time.
