RIGHT IDEAS CURE ALL ILLS

Christian Science is revolutionary in its insistence that there is only one power in existence —the power of God, good. Men and women down through the ages have accepted strange and cruel notions concerning Deity. Many of these notions have been derogative to His sublime character and have tended to produce fear and despair. These concepts have not fitted the character of the heavenly Father, of whom Jesus bore witness.

False views have lingered in the world's thought. But the light which Mary Baker Eddy has thrown upon the Bible and which shines through all her writings has brought a new breath to freshen the thought of the Christian world. Mrs. Eddy discovered Christian Science. She set forth this Science bravely, not in words only, but with accompanying acts of healing, and she proved successfully that God is All and that His creation, the conception of divine Principle, reflects Him.

This Science reveals God as infinite good and declares that there is nothing besides Him. Science shows the impossibility of evil's having anything but a fabulous existence. Mrs. Eddy says (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 231), "God is not the author of mortal discords."
