SURETY

Edith Jane Caslake

Fear not;
The Shepherd's gentle rod
Appoints your rightful way,
And His beneficence is yours
This newborn day.

Give thanks;
Your gratitude has put
A staff into your hand,
And you shall rise
And freely walk
And firmly stand.

Be glad;
For you, within the fold
Established, then must be
Anointed with the oil of joy
Eternally.
