I did not begin the study of...
I did not begin the study of Christian Science because I was seeking a healing of a physical difficulty, but because I was seeking to orient my thinking after a series of tragedies had struck the members of my family.
Loneliness left when the ever-presence of God was understood. Supply became abundant when it was understood that the only need is to express more love and that since God is the source of love, need and supply are two sides of the same coin.
Problems of disposition were solved by an earnest effort to reflect consciously in human affairs the patience and self-immolation of true Christianity. The truth of being continues to unfold breath-taking glimpses of the infinitude of beauty that lies in spiritual consciousness.
