While on a long business trip...

While on a long business trip through the Midwest I began to suffer from a distressing stomach condition. In addition, my body felt sore all over. I decided to go to my hotel room and study the Bible and the works of Mary Baker Eddy. When I arrived at my room, however, I found that some work being performed on the outside of the hotel made study difficult. I therefore proceeded to the nearest Christian Science Reading Room. After several hours of consecrated work, I was completely free from the bodily ailments.

I am joyously grateful for Christian Science and for what it has done and is doing for me and my family. It has met our every need for a number of years. I should like to relate one instance where Christian Science was of inestimable value to me in my business, in which I have tried to let the Christ, Truth, shepherd my thoughts to a fuller productivity.

Some time ago I had the problem before me of preparing a catalogue of some sixty pages describing a number of articles and the methods of their use. I had neither the education nor the experience to perform this duty. There were two additional obstacles: a lack of time and funds. However, I prayed as we are taught to do in Christian Science, and then I felt impelled to go ahead with the work.
