I wish to express my joy and gratitude that Christian Science was introduced to me. At that time I was in need of help. A dentist had said that I would have to have all my teeth extracted on account of pyorrhea. Having my teeth out did not appear to me to be the right solution; so I did not go back to the dentist. Instead, I went to a Christian Science practitioner and asked for help. My gums were entirely healed in five weeks.

I was grateful for this healing, for through it I learned more about God as Love. I started to read the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, and through them the Bible became a new book to me.

On one occasion while studying the lesson, I found that I did not have my glasses on. However, I was so interested in the lesson that I finished reading it without the glasses. This was proof to me that I did not need them, and I have not used or needed them since. Headaches were overcome when I read Hymn No. 148 in the Christian Science Hymnal. A sprained ankle was healed through my using "the scientific statement of being," given on page 468 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Healings of colds and loss of voice were gained through the help of a practitioner. When my mother passed on I was able to maintain a sense of peace and harmony, and I wish to express my gratitude to the loving friends who were so much help to me at that time.
