RELEASE FROM PRESSURE

Those who have been caught in the mesmeric whirl of modern living often long for the tranquillity of country lanes, the freedom of the open desert, or the peaceful grandeur of a mountain retreat. But even in the most pleasant environment, many are reminded that the quiet and harmony provided by material surroundings are temporary; that the only peace which is enduring comes through turning thought to the things of the Spirit.

Infinite Spirit, God, is the giver of all good, the one and only regulator and governor of the spiritual universe and man. In His kingdom there is no strain or stress, no pressure, tension, or frustration. God's kingdom of universal harmony is not afar off, out of reach, or abstract. As Christ Jesus assures us (Luke 17:21), "The kingdom of God is within you," that is, within individual consciousness.

The might and wisdom of God." The first portion refers to the human, the latter part to the divine, will.
