As I count my daily blessings I am most grateful to God for Mrs. Eddy's discovery of Christian Science. Though my husband was not raised in a Science home, I am very grateful for his interest in raising our four children in this religion.

Our family has experienced many proofs of God's harmonious government. One of them was as follows. Our young son was driving the tractor, helping his father plant wheat. As he tried to turn a corner the tractor ran into a fence, spinning the steering wheel backward and throwing our son off the tractor and into the path of a rear wheel. Before his father could get to the ignition, the motor stopped, and the tractor had to be put into reverse to release our son.

When his father picked him up, he said to the boy, "God is all around you." Then he brought him home, and a practitioner was called. The child's face was flushed, his back was skinned, and he did not have the use of one leg and one arm. These evidences of injury were denied, and we repeated the Lord's Prayer and also "the scientific statement of being," found on page 468 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.
