Many years ago I turned to Christian Science for a better understanding of God and man. I am sincerely grateful to the practitioner who helped me overcome smoking. This healing was an instantaneous one, and it came without my having asked for help. The practitioner and I had been discussing the truths of Christian Science, and as I left her I knew the healing had taken place. She knew it too, although not a word about smoking had been spoken. On arriving home I called and told her. We both rejoiced. I have never smoked since that hour. This healing brought an awakening to cleanse my thinking. Then I began to study earnestly, and other healings followed, some through my own understanding of Truth.

How grateful I was when given the opportunity to join The Mother Church and a branch church! Later I had the privilege of being employed in The Christian Science Pleasant View Home at Concord, New Hampshire. I deem it a great pleasure to have been with those who have worked in our heavenly Father's vineyard.

Through Christian Science I have experienced painless childbirth. Colds and headaches have been quickly overcome. Grief at the passing of a loved one was dispelled. Employment and home were provided through Love's unfoldment. Many other healings have taken place, too.
