When Christian Science was first brought to my attention, I was not aware that I needed it. As a result of my interest in it however, I had a painless childbirth. Later, through the help of a practitioner I was healed of a scalded foot. The healing was quick, and no blemish remained.

My four children had almost complete protection from contagion and accidents. Scarlet fever was healed instantaneously, as were earaches. The practitioner who helped us aroused my thinking always to more gratitude and more alertness.

Three years ago, after several months of consecrated study, I was healed of arthritis. The healing came when my understanding of the real man was so purified that I could behold him as inseparable from God and untouched by mortal beliefs or ailments. This healing was accomplished without my discussing the condition with anyone. I merely reasoned from the standpoint of the relationship of God and my true selfhood.
