I am very grateful for the many blessings and healings I have received from my study of Christian Science. I heard of this truth almost thirty years ago from a neighbor. At that time I was suffering from extreme nervousness, was in a very weakened condition, and was losing weight rapidly.

I started to read Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy; and although I did not understand very much of it at first, I somehow felt it would help me. Soon I began to feel better and to gain weight. In one year I had regained thirty-five pounds and was feeling well again.

The path from sense to Soul has not been an easy one for me as there have been many erroneous thoughts to be corrected and many lessons to be learned. One time I manifested symptoms of a virus. I did not do any specific work for myself or have help; and the condition grew worse, finally forcing me to go to bed. Then I requested a Christian Science practitioner to work for me, and the healing soon followed. This experience taught me the valuable lesson that when we are confronted with error we should not ignore it, thinking it will go away. We should rather work diligently to know the unreality of error and if necessary request prayerful help.
