I should like to tell how grateful...

I should like to tell how grateful I am for the many healings I have had and for the improved spiritual understanding I have gained through Christian Science. The following is one of numerous healing experiences.

Some years ago, while I was working in a sawmill, my right hand was injured in an impact between two heavy timbers. I was momentarily stunned when this happened, but I immediately started giving thanks to God that I had Christian Science to help me. I went right on working and did not take my glove off to look at my injured hand.

The thought I clung to was Mrs. Eddy's statement: "Did you but know the sublimity of your hope; the infinite capacity of your being; the grandeur of your outlook, you would let error kill itself. Error comes to you for life, and you give it all the life it has" (Twelve Years with Mary Baker Eddy by Irving C. Tomlinson, pp. 84, 85).
