HEAVEN IS AT HAND

"The kingdom of heaven is at hand." This was the message of Christ Jesus and of his disciples; and today it is the message of Christian Science.

We read in the Bible that God assured Abram (Gen. 13:14, 15), "Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art: ... for all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it." All that Abram saw from where he was, was his. He did not have to go somewhere else, nor wait for a holier state of consciousness. The fulfillment of God's promise to him rested on Abram's willingness to open his eyes and look from the place where he was.

All of reality that one sees today from his own immediate standpoint is his. One does not have to wait or to change his locality. Not partially, but wholly, each one's highest conception of good shapes his individual kingdom, determines his demonstration, and governs his experience. The manna of wisdom is for each day's gathering.
