Activities for the Armed Services
[The following accounts of service personnel have been received by the Armed Services Department and are now shared with the Field.]
Arizona—Air Force base
An airman requested a Christian Science Minister to give him Christian Science treatment for an eardrum that had been punctured and had become infected. The serviceman explained that these conditions had resulted from being kicked while in a swimming pool.
Although the doctor prescribed medicine, the airman relied entirely upon Christian Science for his healing. Daily treatment by the Minister continued for a week, and the doctor pronounced the man well.
