EDUCATION OF CHILDREN

In the book of Proverbs we read (22:6), "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." The correct education of children is of vital importance to the welfare and progress of mankind. It is, therefore, necessary to know the right method of training, and this is found in Christian Science.

A prayerful study of all that Mary Baker Eddy has written on the subject of the education and training of children will be of great help to parents and teachers.

In the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mrs. Eddy writes (p. 62), "The entire education of children should be such as to form habits of obedience to the moral and spiritual law, with which the child can meet and master the belief in so-called physical laws, a belief which breeds disease."
