For the many blessings I have received through my study of Christian Science. I am indeed very grateful. For year I had been subject to severe nervous headaches. When I took up the study of Christian Science, I had help occasionally from a practitioner for this problem, and although I received help each time, the headaches would return. Very early one morning I awoke with all the symptoms of a headache. I tried to realize the truth about the situation, but I had a very busy day ahead of me, and I became fearful; so I thought I had better ask for help. I did so, and the practitioner took up work immediately, The result was that I went right to sleep and awoke a half hour later perfectly free. The healing was complete, and there has been no return of the headaches.

Another healing which I had several years ago was of a serious infection in one of my hands. The hand swelled to almost twice its normal size and was extremely painful. As I felt very fearful, I called a practitioner for help, which was lovingly given. It was about two weeks before the healing came, and during this whole time I tended to my work, teaching school. I had to use my hand, and the pupils made remarks which had to be silently reversed.

Then one day as I was teaching a class the thought came to go out into the kitchen for a drink of water. As I was standing by the sink. I felt such relief in my hand that I looked at it. It had opened up as if a knife had cut it, and it drained quickly. I washed the hand, tied a cloth around it, and went back to my class. Nothing was said about the hand, but as soon as I was free I called the practitioner, and we both rejoiced that the truth had been proved the victor. The hand was soon normal.
