At a mothers' club meeting one...

At a mothers' club meeting one of the members and I arranged to attend a Wednesday evening testimony meeting in a Church of Christ, Scientist. We were both very much impressed by what we heard there and continued attending the meetings. Also we began going to the services on Sundays.

This friend had a son who the physicians said had a tubercular condition of the spine, caused by a fall when he was about the age of two. The first Sunday this boy attended the Christian Science Sunday School his mother left off the brace which he had worn for four years and which he was supposed to wear at all times. A practitioner took up prayerful work, and he never had to wear it again. The healing was complete. He is now over six feet tall and the parent of two lovely children.

This healing and the testimonies at the Wednesday evening meetings so impressed me that I became a member of The Mother Church and a branch church. In addition I had class instruction from a consecrated teacher and have been active in branch church work ever since.
