Words are inadequate to express...

Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for what it means to me. I have had many opportunities to prove Mrs. Eddy's statement (Science and Health, p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need."

Space does not permit me to tell of my many experiences in Christian Science. One of them was the healing of the effects of a severe electric shock, which occurred when a live wire struck my arm, rendering me apparently lifeless. A practitioner was called, and in an hour I revived. In three hours I was preparing dinner for six. The arm was healed of its burns in a few days, and no trace of scars remained. The practitioner's realization that man is actually perfect now because he is God-created brought about this beautiful healing.

Several years ago I had a throat infection and could not eat or drink for nine days. Through the help of a practitioner it was revealed to me that the thought that I was being hated must be destroyed. This was done, and immediately the poison discharged. I was well and went to work the next day, feeling no weakness from lack of food.
