I am grateful for Christian Science

I am grateful for Christian Science. Our family has been studying it and going to church for a comparatively short time, but we have all been much happier and freer from tension since doing so.

Our daughter was out of school with what the doctors diagnosed as rheumatic fever. They warned her repeatedly to be quiet and not to exert herself; so she would sit and read or embroider instead of being active as other girls were. I had witnessed the healing through Christian Science of a girl who was suffering from a bullet wound, accidentally caused. She was healed instantaneously, and this gave me courage to seek Christian Science help for our little girl.

Although she had not been cured after sixteen months of medical help, she was healed instantaneously through Christian Science. She realized that she had been healed before I did, and she ran and ran as if she would never stop. We felt gladness such as the people must have felt when they spread the palm leaves on which Jesus entered Jerusalem, for we knew that the healing Christ was with us.
