I wish to tell of some of the wonderful demonstrations I have had of the healing power of Christian Science. The doctors had diagnosed my case as tuberculosis of the right knee with decalcification of the bone. After I had been in a hospital for four months while wearing a cast, I was then put on the disabled list and given a pension. When I read a copy of The Herald of Christian Science (French Edition), which someone had lent me, I at once felt that I wanted to get a Bible and the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I did so, and after reading them with absorbed interest for six months, I was completely healed. X rays were taken, and when no trace of decalcification was found, my pension was discontinued. I have never again consulted a doctor or taken medicine.

Through Christian Science I was healed of stomach trouble and chronic constipation. I have become more poised, and patience and harmony have come into our home. Also I have had the joy of seeing my husband become interested in Science and of having him accompany me to church.

Our son had heart trouble, and the doctors gave him up, saying they could do nothing more for him. He asked me for help in Christian Science, and for two weeks I worked alone with God. One night our son appeared to be passing on. It was then I saw that I had to give up my sense of human motherhood and leave him in the hands of God, his true Father-Mother. He revived, and thereafter continued to improve. Some time afterward he had to take an X-ray test, and it showed that the heart condition was healed.
