TRANQUILLITY
Tranquillity
abides in Mind;
It walks in paths of light. To find
Its footprints men have sought to be
Divinely led, then joyously
Have left false landmarks far behind.
Blessed are the thoughts so intertwined
With peace no tumult could unwind
The strands, nor silence God's decree:
Tranquillity.
Only the humble thoughts refined
By fire can know the calm enshrined
Within a poised serenity.
Girded with quiet majesty
Thought stands full-robed in Love-designed
Tranquillity.
