Signs of the Times
Rev. E. J. Taylor in a sermon as reported in the Express Stockport, Cheshire, England
The Bible does speak today. It answers the same problems that confront us now as it did in the times when it was written.
The Bible is a collection of ancient documents which has been handed down from a distant past; documents which might seem to have no obvious relation to modern men and women, who live in the age of the combustion engine and the atom bomb. But it is not a dead book which speaks only of a long-forgotten past.
