Without Christian Science, life would be meaningless for me. Science came into my experience when I was a very young child through my sister's healing of tuberculosis of the eyes. In spite of this wonderful healing, I wandered away from the truth through the years, and finally I was overcome by a complete nervous breakdown. My whole body was affected, and I lost much weight.

I struggled desperately with every phase of this condition, and when the doctors could do nothing more for me I turned to Christian Science and was healed. The healing was slow but sure, and I learned to see the whole disorder as nothing more than an indication of the breaking up of false beliefs.

Words cannot express my thankfulness at the overcoming of the extreme fear that had captured my thought and for the peace and freedom from restlessness. I should like to express my deep gratitude for Mrs. Eddy's untiring effort to give us the Science of healing that Christ Jesus taught and practiced, for class instruction, and for the practitioners who at different times lovingly stood by me. I am also thankful to God for the good which my healing has brought to others. It has had a far-reaching effect on those who saw me restored to health.—(Mrs.) Zelma L. McGranahan, Dallas, Texas.
