The testimonies in the Christian Science periodicals have been a source of rich inspiration and help to me over a period of years. I should like to relate some of my healings and experiences with the hope that they may likewise inspire other seekers for Truth.

Christian Science was offered to me by a dear friend at a time when a nervous breakdown seemed imminent. This friend recommended that I immediately seek the help of a practitioner. Although I was skeptical, my extremity was so great that I was ready to put to a test the healing efficacy of this religion. I walked into the practitioner's office a very sick man. I walked out completely free. This healing was sufficient proof to me that Christian Science is indeed the religion of the healing Christ, Truth.

However, I did not immediately accept Science in its entirety. In a short time another problem presented itself in the form of a severe prostate gland trouble. I went to a reputable physican for diagnosis, and surgery was recommended. Rather than submit to this ordeal, I turned wholeheartedly to Christian Science. Again a healing was effected in a single treatment. From that time on I accepted Christian Science and became an earnest student, availing myself of the privilege of membership in The Mother Church as well as in a branch church, where I became active in board and committee work.
