It is comforting to know that...
It is comforting to know that the purpose of Christian Science is to bless all mankind, and I should like to bear witness to its healing power.
Some years ago I was taking a four-months course of study, a shortened form of a two-year course. Striving to gain all possible knowledge of the required subjects each day, and studying far into the night, I was soon suffering from severe eyestrain and headaches. The suggestion kept presenting itself to me that I would be compelled to wear glasses.
Instead of accepting this suggestion I prayed, desiring to prove that the healing power of Christian Science was a sufficient remedy. For three consecutive Wednesday evenings in The Mother Church I heard testimonies of healings of the need of wearing glasses. By the third week I was completely free from headaches and eyestrain, and I have remained so.
