I consider it a blessed privilege to be a student of Christian Science and to be afforded this particular means of testifying to Truth's efficacy. I have had many healings, the most outstanding being those of sick headaches, chronic constipation, and anemia. For years I relied on medicine for relief from these ailments without being healed. But as I studied the truth and learned to express more love by overcoming egotism, a bad temper, and many other undesirable characteristics, the healing of the physical conditions was complete.

There have been many physical healings in our family, and inharmony and lack have been overcome. Through expressing gratitude for our blessings we have seen dire needs met with overflowing abundance. In Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy we read (p. 14), "Become conscious for a single moment that Life and intelligence are purely spiritual,—neither in nor of matter, —and the body will then utter no complaints." This statement has helped us greatly.

Grief, a sense of separation, and fear of the future, occasioned by the sudden passing of my husband, have yielded to harmony. When I was faced with the necessity of either selling or personally operating the business he left, a false sense of inability vehemently insisted that I sell. When I failed repeatedly to consummate a satisfactory sale of the business, aggressive suggestion whispered, "Give it away." This suggestion I knew I must silence with the truth.
