LOVE'S PATHWAY

[Of Special Interest to Children]

Ann was twelve years old and had been invited to spend her summer vacation at camp. She had often thought of doing this, but as each summer came round she could not find the courage to leave her parents. This time she finally decided to go. She had great fun with her mother and father, who helped her to prepare the many things she would need.

But as the day for leaving drew near she began to feel afraid and wished that she were not going. However, Ann was a pupil in the Christian Science Sunday School, and here she had learned that God is All-power, the all-knowing Mind; that He is ever-present Love, filling all space. Ann told her parents of her fears and asked them to talk to her of God. To help her they read to her a little poem that had been published in the Christian Science Sentinel. It went:

I know
That where I am
Is God. Since this is so,
No place could safer be than where
I go.
