All my life I have been blessed...

All my life I have been blessed with the benefits of Christian Science, and I wish to tell of my gratitude.

Until three years ago I had more or less taken Christian Science for granted, because others had always done my metaphysical work for me. But through an inspiring Sunday School teacher I became imbued with a great desire to learn more and more of this Science and apply it. My endeavor to do this has been a rewarding experience. Mrs. Eddy says (Science and Health, p.1), "Desire is prayer; and no loss can occur from trusting God with our desires, that they may be moulded and exalted before they take form in words and in deeds." As a result of my desire to know more of Truth I was placed in a school among other young Christian Scientists in an atmosphere where my thought became free from criticism and from the belief of error as personal. My consecrated study has brought about an enlarged concept of man as the perfect reflection of the perfect God.

Varied and profitable vacations have been experienced. On one occasion supply was provided when I realized that "Love inspires, illumines, designates, and leads the way" (ibid., p. 454) and that supply is the abundance of spiritual ideas, the human evidence of which naturally unfolds as we utilize them. It came to me through an expression of gratitude for Christian Science on the part of another.
