GRATITUDE IS APPRECIATION ACKNOWLEDGED

It can truly be said that no one can be genuinely grateful for Christian Science without an appreciation of it. It is just as true that no one can really appreciate Christian Science without being grateful. It must be self-evident that gratitude and appreciation are inseparable.

Gratitude is the heart's overflow of appreciation. When we know something of God, of His goodness and loving-kindness, we rejoice. How can we do otherwise?

We do not prove all things at once. But there is wisdom in a step-by-step demonstration of Truth. Thought enlightened and blessed by divine Science has the proof it needs for the moment. This proof enables us to understand our way heavenward in terms of present comprehension. It should and does call forth in the receptive heart an equal measure of thanksgiving.
