For more than fifty years I have been reaping the blessings promised in the Bible and made manifest to those who wholeheartedly turn to Christian Science.

My father became acquainted with this Science when it cured his mother of cancer. Both my parents took up the study seriously when I was but an infant. As a boy I frequently heard them talk about a loving Father-Mother God watching over His children. While attending Sunday School I thoroughly delighted in the spiritual enlightenment and assurance of God's goodness which my teachers shared so unselfishly. God's ability and willingness to protect and save from sickness, sin, and disease were firmly established in my consciousness.

When about sixteen years of age I experienced a fever. As I lay tossing about on my bed my father said to me, "God is your Life." Whereupon I replied, "I know it." With this acknowledgment I dropped off to sleep to awaken early the next day entirely well.
