ETERNAL SELFHOOD
Many
poets have expressed
The thought for lifted eyes
That stars when setting in the west
Appear in other skies
Beyond horizon bars.
Just so when loved ones go from sight
By earth-bound limits rimmed,
They still maintain their heavenly light,
Eternally undimmed
And constant as the stars.
