Christian Science was presented to me in 1930, and during the years since then I have had many healings and countless blessings through the study and application of this truth.

For many years before beginning the study of Christian Science I had severe headaches, for which I found no help from material remedies. One day when I was in great pain a neighbor brought some copies of the Sentinel for me to read. Although I was in great distress, I began reading them. After a while I realized that the pain was gone. This healing from my first contact with Christian Science has been permanent.

Some time ago I was connecting a hose from a lot water faucet to a washing machine. In some way the very hot water struck me. Although the pain was intense, I was able to turn the water off and to declare the spiritual truths I knew. In a few moments I was free from any discomfort, and I completed the washing, which took about three hours. Later, when changing my dress, I saw evidence of the burn, which covered a large part of the body; but it did not bother me in any way, and soon this evidence disappeared. This was another proof to me and my family of the healing power of Science.
