With gratitude for the many proofs I have had that Christian Science heals I submit this testimony.

I began the study of Christian Science after my mother experienced a beautiful healing in 1925. Three doctors had held a consultation and told her there was nothing they could do for her, as a back injury had resulted in paralysis. At this point she asked her sister to go to a storage room, unpack an old trunk, and bring to her my grandmother's copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. My mother began to read the textbook and within three weeks was able to walk. Soon she was free from pain, although she had known no relief for more than five years. This healing was complete, and today she is well and active.

I have been healed of tonsillitis, influenza, toothache, burns, and many other physical ills. Also, through understanding that "perfect love casteth out fear" (I John 4:18) I have overcome the fear of storms. The teaching of Christian Science that God is Love and ever present has given me more love and good will for my fellow man.
