There are no words to tell how grateful I am for Christian Science. When it found me I was in the depths of despair and felt that life was no longer worth living if I had to go on as I was. I had been a semi-invalid for many years, and for two years had been under the constant care of a doctor, but my condition grew worse instead of better. I had had a severe nervous breakdown, was suffering from a bad heart condition, and had a great sense of weakness.

Finally, when all other means had failed, I turned to Christian Science. I sent one of my children to a Christian Science Reading Room to borrow a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and I read it all that day and almost all night. I could not put it down, for no one ever needed the truths it taught more than I.

About two days later, when I was downtown with my husband, I suddenly had such a feeling of well-being that I decided to walk the twenty-one blocks to our home, and I did. I seemed to be walking on air and reached home without the slightest feeling of weakness or fatigue. It was an instantaneous healing. The other difficulties gradually faded out of my experience also.
