It is with humble gratitude that I offer this testimony of the healing power of Christian Science. When rightly applied, it has met my every need in the raising of our two daughters. Some of the many healings experienced have been those of influenza, blood poisoning, impetigo, and oak poisoning; lost articles have been recovered, and the problem of lack has been met.

The healing of influenza came when I held to my desire to be in my right place at the Wednesday evening testimony meeting and walked over a mile to church; to material sense this had seemed impossible. The service was inspiring, and my thought was so uplifted that by the time I reached home I realized my healing was complete.

The healing of blood poisoning in my foot took somewhat longer, although not a day was missed from work. I shall always be grateful to a friend, who is a student of Christian Science and who worked in the same office at that time, for her loving help during this trying experience. One evening at the close of work I seemed to be on the verge of collapse and had a very high fever. I felt that it was humanly impossible for me to get to the streetcar. A few minutes before we were to leave the office my friend's mother stopped by, something she had never thought of doing before, to take us home. My gratitude was so overwhelming that it broke the mesmerism which was holding me in bondage. The following day was Sunday, and I spent it in quiet study. By Monday I was able to put on my shoe with very little discomfort, and in a day or so the healing was complete. This experience was positive proof to me and to others who witnessed it of the healing power of Truth, and it has meant much to me.
