Although I regularly attended a Protestant Sunday School when I was a child, I was not spiritually satisfied and sincerely desired to know God better. I had never been able to believe that God brought evil. When I was about thirteen years old I had the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School for the first time, and immediately I realized that here was being taught the truth which I had been seeking: that God is good and gives only good to His children.

In the years which followed, my interest in and utilization of Christian Science increased. Since I have been a student of this religion my prayers have all been answered in a way that always proved to be the best for all concerned. I can truthfully say that any failure I have seemed to experience has brought with it the overcoming of some phase of false pride or latent fear. Physical healings of nervousness, asthma, severe stomach pains, and a skin condition of the hands have been some of the proofs that the Principle of Christian Science is God, who heals every ill "that flesh is heir to."

It was a great blessing to have the ministrations of Christian Science at the time our son was born. With the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner, and through the constant realization that only God's will and God's law were in operation, the entire experience was harmonious and uplifting.
