Christian Science Radio Programs Bring Healing

It is with gratitude we report that fifteen radio stations are broadcasting the transcribed programs prepared in The Mother Church edifice. Inquiries received indicate that they are reaching many who have never before heard of Christian Science. A special booklet, entitled "A Few Questions and Answers About Christian Science," has been prepared and is sent to those who write to the radio station asking for it. The name and address of the inquirer are then sent to the nearest church or society so they can be of further assistance. This booklet is issued for radio use and is not intended for distribution to church members or other Christian Scientists.

The following experience shows that good work is being done when inquirers ask for help in letters to the radio stations: A mother wrote asking for help for her little child and stating that it had had much medical treatment but without effect. Her appeal was referred to a Christian Science practitioner, who called at the home. Help in Christian Science was offered, with the result that the child was healed in three treatments of recurring convulsions and also of a growth on the eye which interfered with its vision.
