Christian Science is indeed the great jewel in the crown of life. I would like to share with others the proofs I have had of the ever-presence and power of the Christ, or Truth.

As a young woman I passed through unhappiness. I was very sick with a condition of thrombosis, but only at the last moment was I willing to ask for Christian Science treatment, which was lovingly given and which proved a great blessing to me. Although at first I was unable to move even a finger, I refused all medicine and was soon able to get up. To the great amazement of the doctor and nurses I was able to walk again within a week after metaphysical work for me was taken up, and I left the clinic. I am grateful for this healing, in which Christian Science alone saved my life.

At that time my baby was very delicate. When he was six months old he suffered from inflammation of the inner ear and laryngitis at the same time. After Christian Science treatment was given he was able to sleep and rest, and at the end of five days he was perfectly well, restored to health through the operation of the World of Truth and Love and through my simple trust in God's omnipresent care. A doctor who knew about this case said that the healing was a miracle.
