It is with deep gratitude to God that I relate the following experience, which once again proves the wonderful protection Christian Science affords each one of us.

While I was on a trip, the car I was driving skidded on wet pavement and overturned twice. The moment I realized the car was out of control, I declared aloud, "God is Love," and then remembered nothing until I heard my little girl saying, "Mommie, why don't you get up?" I did get up immediately, to find that the car had landed upright, both doors had opened, and we had been thrown out of the car. I began at once to declare the truth of man as the perfect child of God, untouched and unhurt, and the unreality of what had occurred. These protests of truth quieted all fear.

My little daughter's arm was injured, but the pain was instantly met; and although she was unable to use her arm freely for a while, this was the only injury she sustained. I had been bruised quite severely, and there was every indication of broken ribs; however, there was no examination or diagnosis of any kind, but only radical reliance on Truth and the calm realization of man's intactness and invulnerability.
