Christian Science was brought to me over twenty-three years ago, after a loved one had passed on and when everything seemed lost. A friend brought me a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy and asked me to read it seeing I needed help. I started to read it and then decided to attend the Christian Science church. I had never been there before. It was a wonderful enlightenment to me, especially when I learned about the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly. From then on I attended the church regularly, purchased a Quarterly, and read every day. I thus learned how to put my entire trust in God as Christ Jesus taught us to do, and it brought me peace.

One morning when I went to work seemingly very ill with influenza, I told my employer that I should like to go home when he came back from lunch. I called a friend, and she insisted that I come to her home, as I was all alone. I then called a practitioner, who came for me in her car and took me to my friend's home and worked faithfully for me. Through her help I was healed and back at work in a very short time, much to the surprise of my employer. Not long after that he asked for Christian Science help and was healed, and he is now a member of a Christian Science help and was healed, and he is now a member of a Christian Science branch church.

One outstanding healing I have had was that of a dry condition of the skin that spread over my entire body and even to my scalp. I do not know the name of the trouble. I did my reading faithfully and had work done by a practitioner. She had helped me many times before, but the healing did not seem to come.
