Over a period of years I have been so increasingly grateful for Christian Science that wish publicly to express my gratitude for it and for all its benefits. Words cannot sufficiently express my gratitude for the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly. As I study the Lesson each morning, I wonder how anyone can get through the day without this spiritual guidance. Since my first study of this Science, I have been very grateful that there are practitioners who give help so unselfishly and lovingly when relied upon.

Early in my study of this divine Science it was pointed out to me by a practitioner that although one may pass through severe testing times the increased understanding of God gained will far outweigh the difficulties of the experience, and that at all times one should strive to learn more about God and His goodness.

There have been healings in our home of a severe breakdown, torn ligaments, corns, influenza, neuritis, numbness in hands and feet, and warts. The last condition covered the soles of a small daughter's feet and was very painful. She could not wear her shoes and remained out of school. I was new in the study of Christian Science, and her father was helping her. One evening when I put her to bed and glanced at her feet, I thought the condition has not improved. The next morning, however, there was nothing on the soles of the child's feet, and she went to school. This healing made quite an impression on her, and she often speaks of it. To me it was another proof of Mrs. Eddy's statement (Science and Health, p. 463), "A spiritual idea has not a single element of error, and this truth removes properly whatever is offensive."
