A remarkable healing which I experienced many years ago has never been related. Because of a great desire to encourage others to cling steadfastly to the truth of being under every discouraging circumstance, I feel impelled to give this testimony.

An aggravated condition of eczema manifested itself on my face. At first this was hardly noticeable, but as it appeared to grow worse, I consulted a physician. Alter a long period of time, during which I used a doctor's remedies, I was led to Christian Science. As the condition did not yield at once, through my lack of understanding I returned to materia medica. But as my face began to swell, and the trouble even spread to my eyelids, I was in despair. Then a Christian Science practitioner pointed out to me plainly that "ye cannot serve God and mammon" (Matt. 6:24).

I at once decided to take a firm stand for Truth, and it was then that the testing time came. Not only was I in deep physical suffering and my face distorted, bat I had to attend to my business every day as a private secretary. In commuting to the city, I wore smoked glasses and a veil to cover my disfigurement and also when I attended the church services.
