How grateful I am for Christian Science...

How grateful I am for Christian Science and for what it is doing for the whole world. Our Sunday Schools, where the seed of Truth is planted, are a great blessing to all who have the opportunity to attend them, as I had. Although I spent only a few years in Sunday School as a child, the seed was sown, and when I became twenty-two years of age I returned to Christian Science, not for physical healing, but because of a desire for better things, which the world could not offer.

Since that time I have had many healings, some through the help of practitioners, others through my own understanding. We have seen in our home many healings, including those of so-called children's diseases, colds, car sickness, oak poisoning, constipation, a large boil near the eye, and measles at a time when local health authorities had allowed only a few brief hours for complete healing before placing a quarantine sign.

All through the depression years my needs were met. At times when it looked as if the Red Sea were in front of me, the words from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, page 530, lines 6-12, were a comfort, and God did prepare a table for me in the wilderness always.
